Two billing issues:
The hotel added a security charge to my bill. That charge did not appear on the paper copy of my bill. At my registration no mention was made that it was to be added and removed.as I have come to expect from previous stays.
I made reservation with one Visa card but I registered at the hotel using another Visa card. It is a practice I have done before on previous stays with Bond Place Hotel. No charge was placed on my Visa that was used to reserve the room. This time the room charge appears on both of my Visa cards along with the security charge.
This is not what I have come to expect from Bond Place Hotel.
This is the first issue I have had with this hotel. Up to now no problem.
. I spoke to their reservation office the next day and it seems to be cleared up. I will check back with them if not resolved.
Not sure if this is a Hotels. com issue or Bond Place issue.
Location was great. Two minutes to metro, two minutrs to enormous sjoppong mall and great resraurants.
The property is centrally located keeping everything in walking distance. The Eaton Centre, Dundas Centre and many food places.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel, location is in the heart of downtown, nice walk, huge shopping centre…
Had a pretty great stay at The Bond Place! The location was ideal, and the staff was incredibly sweet and professional. Every single staff member we encountered was very kind.
The room was pretty good. We (travelling with my partner) liked the size for a one night stay. The bathroom was very clean, but the bedroom was a little dusty/crummy. It was the first thing we saw when we entered the room, unfortunately. We had left special instructions for an impeccable room when we booked the hotel, due to one of us being quite the "neat freak", so we were a little disappointed with that outcome.
However, for the price and location, we would definitely stay at The Bond Place again! Close to everything, including lots of restaurants with free Wi-Fi, since the hotel doesn't offer that amenity. The staff should be quite proud of themselves!

I had two nights stay at Bond Place Hotel, Toronto. The hotel is ideally located beside Yonge-Dundas Square with a walking distance to Subway. The hotel seems old, but refurbished into nice and modern interior decor. An personal safe locker is missing in the room. There was no hassles for check in, but somber face of certain reception staff may be a welcome-spoiler to a "sensitive" customer. But that's compensated by certain chirpy staff on the check out time. There's a sweet old lady at the tour desk beside the reception area who can arrange everything if you are a tourist and intend to visit main touristic places like Niagara Falls.
Overall a good hotel for the above-average pricing.

Good: Great value for money...close to all the action of yonge and dundas square. Room was small but very clean and updated.
Bad: Lacked facilities such as pool, bar or lounge, gym and wifi was an extra $11 a day instead of included. Limited tv channels. No parking. Had to pay $30 a day at public parking across the street.
Good: The beds were coming comfy Bad: The room was small

Good: Convenient central location. Helpful reception staff.
Bad: Room is smaller than expected and not much comfortable. Outdated furniture. Bathroom was small and there was no handheld showerhead, which made bathing uncomfortable . Poor soundproof and you can hear everything from the next room.
Good: Comfy bed, great staff Bad: Room was a bit small, not really anywhere to sit besides the bed. Could…
Good: Central location, so you can walk to the main sightseeing spots of the city, or take public transport. Easy to access by car and the hotel provides parking in a nearby parking building across the street (closed garage) but it cost extra. Clean and tide room with TV and refrigerator. Although a bit small for two people traveling with large suitcases, it was cozy. Easily accessible elevator.
Bad: Extra charge for WiFi. We found wet towels in the bathroom - unknown if there was the bathroom humidity or they were wet to start with.
Reasonable price. Clean and staff very helpful. Walking distance to everything you need.
Perfect location. Clean facilities.
Good: Location & price Bad: Had to pay for WiFi

I like it was nice and clean. All the rooms seem to have been renovated and it was minimalist but really clean. Love the white and the desk against the window. Location was excellent. Too noisy, but expected with the Raptors game going on. Sad, the Wi-Fi was extra cost.
The area of the hotel is not the best many homeless all day around, not feeling like best place

Great location less than a 2 minute walk to Dundas Square and the Eaton Center. Room was ultra modern with very comfortable sleeping, . huge flat screen TV and excellent air conditioning. Only negative was lack of WI-FI which cost $10 per night
Simple, efficient, smala, well positionned. Be carefull thé restaurant is awfull, eggs benedict style simply disgusting.

Location, location, location!!! Steps away from the Eaton centre. Next to Dundas Square. Walking Distance to all of downtown, waterfront, CN tower, arenas, restaurants and the Aquarium. The room itself was very small, however the new trendy updated renovations make up for the size. The bathroom is fully stocked with amenities and the beds are comfortable. The heating/ cooling worked great! Old windows but they operate fine. The front desk staff were pleasant but not in a hurry to welcome new guests. The housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful! Parking was challenging as a first time customer. Parking is across the street in a parking garage which was easy once I asked the front desk staff for directions on parking. The parking lot is located under the building in this photo. Loved staying here and will be back in August.
Bad: Staff was not knowledgeable concerning parking regulations in the downtown area for over night.
Great deal for being in downtown
Good: Location excellent near dundas square but hotel itself quiet Comfortable attractive room Great staff Bad: Perfect place to stay
Great hotel location, service was great. the 7th floor is under renovation, construction, a bit noisy & disruptive, but acceptable.
Enjoyed our short stay. Convenient to transport, shopping and tourist sights. Havin g to pay extra for wifi is a…
Good: Great location for central Toronto, friendly and helpful staff, decent sized room with a great bathroom and powerful shower. Stay here to be near shopping, entertainment and nightlife.
Bad: The hotel is in a very busy and lively location just off Yonge and Dundas - maybe not ideal if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. Coffee and tea facilities were not always replaced properly - we didn't have cups one morning. Questionable commitment to environmental sustainability with large amount of single use plastic.

Good: I loved how bright the room was, and the stay was comfortable. The front desk staff when I arrived was very friendly and warm. When I came back after checking out to collect my luggage, there was a lady who was exceptionally helpful and warm.
Bad: The morning of my check out, I called front desk to enquire about check out time, when I got my call rudely hung up. I did not enjoy that. Also did not realize that the wifi is at an additional charge. Would also prefer to have water dispenser or a kettle.
I arrived late, and the gentleman working the front desk was very welcoming and kind. The location is great and…
Good: We liked the way it was set up to get to your room for security you knew the only people on your floor were guests liked the fact the rooms were so clean the hallways on our floor were spotless when we came to the hotel the employees were so nice smiling and cheerful
Bad: Compared to other hotels we have stayed at the price was a little high when I booked it online this was not the price I was given but since my husband was having a heart operation I was concentrating on him not the price

Two tiny areas for improvement are the lights in the room are on the dark side.
1. In the morning there isn't enough light in the room unless you open the curtains. But opening the curtains give the neighbours across the street and at right angle a "show". Could use some privacy window film or the bottom 60centimeters (24inches) of the windows to allow light in but fuzzy up the details of your naked body and/or underwear suit while you iron your clothes.
2. No one at the front desk spoke french or could offer a basic greeting in french or provide directions to the elevator or how to access the elevator in french. Now it not that they didn't know french that was the issue is that they didn't try to help further. Having a minimum of french services is a benchmark for any service business because if you can't offer a minimum of french as Canada's 2nd official language, how is your staff helping all the other non-English 1st language speakers that visit and do business in Toronto. If you can't make a french Canadian from Ontario feel at home and welcome at your hotel then chances are lots of other non-English 1st language speaking guests are experiencing the same, and they don't have the benefits of having the law protect services in their language.
